From Milan to Malawi
Bringing food and hope
The humanitarian organization Mary’s Meals Italia, TCC Global, and TCC Foundation (an international company operating in Loyalty Marketing) are once again united in their winning race.
On April 7th, they will once again take to the track to run as part of the Charity Program of the Milan Marathon and to feed thousands of children in schools in the world's poorest countries.
In 2023, it was Kenyan athlete Thomas Ekiru who proudly represented Mary’s Meals in the professional competition, achieving the best performance in the Marathon with a time of "2:13:05". Ekiru, making his first appearance in Italy, had already left his mark in many countries around the world, including Spain, Poland, Germany, Israel, and China.
By placing first in the over 40 category, Thomas fulfilled his dream and that of 512 Kenyan children, saving them from the hunger he himself had experienced during his childhood.
This year, Mary’s Meals and TCC Global are trying once again, this time for the 500 children of Mdidi School in Malawi, currently facing an alarming drought. This situation directly jeopardizes the lives of millions of people in the country, urgently requiring food and humanitarian assistance.
Join us from April 4th at MiCo – Milano Convention Center in City Life, where the Milano Running Festival is based, and on April 7th for the start and finish at the Duomo.
